Dr. Low spent four years in the Department of Economics and Statistics at The National University of Singapore, teaching econometrics and statistics. He also had consultancy experience in Australia, working for a private company involved in life and pension funds.
Dr. Low has been teaching actuarial science at NTU for eight years. His consultancy projects in Singapore have included building an econometric model for MAS, teaching statistics courses for PAS and the Civil Service Institute, and building a sampling model for Singapore Post.
