In his dual role as structurer and derivatives specialist, he is also involved in the origination of derivatives products. Prior to joining Citi, he occupied a similar role at UBS investment bank. Before his UBS post, he was the product development person on the Structured Products Desk at Credit Suisse Private Banking, Singapore. There, his main focus is the assessment of derivatives notes with respect to risk return profile and suitability for client advisors/ relationship managers. Before entering the derivatives industry, Shawn was Assistant Professor of Economics at National Tsing Hua University. He holds a PhD in Finance from the University of California, Irvine. |
