MAS Finance Scholarship Program (FSP)
MAS has launched the Finance Scholarship Programme (FSP) under the Financial Sector Development Fund (FSDF). The objective is to further develop specialised skills to support the long-term growth of Singapore's financial services sector. There are 2 tracks:
a) Company-Sponsored Track
Under this track, Singapore-based financial institutions are encouraged to send promising executives or fresh graduates to undertake specialised Masters programmes in top-ranked local and international Universities.
Application for funding support should be made by sponsoring Institutions only. If you are an employee or fresh graduate of the local Financial Institution, please contact your sponsoring Institution directly for more information. Applicants may indicate in the MFE application form that they are applying under the Company-Sponsored Track.
Companies are to obtain a copy of the FSP application form from the MAS at fsdf@mas.gov.sg, and apply directly to the MAS for FSP funding before the MFE application deadline. FSP applications submitted to the MAS after the MFE application deadline will not be considered.
b) Individual Track
Under this track, individuals - fresh graduates, as well as working professionals, who need not be employed in the financial sector - are eligible for the programme. The scholarships will co-fund up to 70% of qualifying expenses incurred by the scholars during the course of studies, including tuition fees, and cost-of-living expenses. Upon graduation, these scholars must contribute in their respective fields of specialisations with Singapore-based financial institutions.
Please indicate in the MFE Application form if you are applying under the Individual Track. You are to obtain a copy of the FSP application form from the MAS at fsdf@mas.gov.sg, and apply directly to the MAS for FSP funding before end January. Applications submitted to the MAS after end January will not be considered.
NOTE:
Preference is given to Singapore Citizens or Singapore Permanent Residents. Please refer to the
FSP brochure for more information, eligibility and terms and conditions.
